Our Story in Brief<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

One of the founding fathers, Rev. Fr. Michael Melladu, FJS was posted to Agala-ate – a village in Igala land in Kogi state in the north central part of Nigeria.<\/p>

As a missionary priest, he got directly involved in the daily activities of the people. He became one with them, sharing their pains and joy.<\/p>

One thing was glaring in this community.There was only one government primary school in the village which was closed down few years before the arrival of the priest. This closure was occasioned by lack of teachers and none payment of the few\u00a0 <\/span>existing ones.<\/p>

Again, the people were obviously brutalized by abject poverty of all degrees. Worth also of paramount notice was the neglect of girl- child education in the community.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The reality of human suffering dwells with us much more than we can ever imagine. In our world today this sad phenomenon has become glaring than ever before in human history.\n\n\nThis is occasioned by failure in leadership especially in developing countries, arm conflict with it's attendance consequences, gender inequality, hunger and the scourge of climatic change.\n\nPremodia Charity Foundation therefore was intentionally founded to address the aforementioned factors that have continued to dehumanize humanity in our time and era . \n\nConscious of gender inequality that exists especially in developing countries, this foundation since it's inception in 2018 (and later registered in 2024) have continued to support girl-child education by granting of partial and full school to girls from families at the bring of the society. \n\n This noble organization has also helped to organize peasant women into farming co -operatives to enable them access grants, loans and incentives from the government and other donor agencies.\n\nFounded in the North central part of Nigeria where farmers -herders crises has killed thousands and displaced millions, this foundation has continued to provide succour to the internally displaced persons living in many camps scattered all over the region. \n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
